This week Christina Aguilera’s much-anticipated Keeps Gettin’ Better video premiered.
You can watch the video on VH1 here: vh1 Keeps Gettin’ Better

I was very excited to watch the video but as I sat and watched it I found myself going to extremes – from loving it to being confused to really respecting Christina.
First I’ll say that Christina is really a trendsetter. She is always thinking outside of the box. And for this reason, the video rocks!
But the video is a little confusing to me because I feel it lacks a little cohesiveness. I love all that’s IN the video. I love Christina putting it all together from her console. I love all the different images. But the video in relation to the song is just a little lacking for me. Love the song, love parts of the video. But together, it just leaves me a little disappointed with it’s cohesiveness.
Overall, I give it an A+. Really! I think Christina is fabulous and a true artist. I’d give the concept a B. The idea behind the concept is good, but it just lacks a little.
What do you think?
