Yep, “Cloverfield” has done so well at the box office — a whopping $46 million on opening weekend — Paramount now has a sequel in the works, says Variety.
“Cloverfield” producer J.J. Abrams, writer Drew Goddard and director Matt Reeves are in discussions to work on the upcoming fright-fest.
Reeves has also made a deal with GreeneStreet Films to direct “The Invisible Woman,” a Hitchcock-style thriller about a former beauty queen who turns to a crime to protect her family.
GreeneStreet recently completed two films: the John Polson-directed “Tenderness,” starring Russell Crowe, and “Bill,” directed by Melisa Wallack and Bernie Goldmann.
