Season 7 Prequel Date: November 23rd!

24Season7CastPhotoGreat news people, Fox has set an airdate for the two hour season 7 prequel, November 23rd. Executive producer Howard Gordon spoke to TV Guide, saying “We’re excited about the prequel because it explores Jack’s complex emotional state of mind and still has all the signature excitement and suspense that fans have come to expect from 24.”

[Slight spoiler alert]Remember, this was partly shot in Africa, and will follow Jack dealing with an international crisis, which is probably the genocide that General Juma (a recurring character in Season 7 who tried to boss Cherry Jones‘ President Allison Taylor around) is responsible for.[Spoiler out]He also said that “Shooting in South Africa affirms everyone’s commitment to making this season especially memorable for our fans.” That sounds like he’s alluding to the completely unmemorable season 6.

So what do you guys think about the prequel, does it sound like it has the potential to be up to the 24 quality of earlier seasons?
